How to troubleshoot your HP Printer color issues easily?

Depending on the models, HP Printers can be used to scan, print and fax your documents and photos. Everything we see in our surrounding environment is full of color and has its own distinguished pattern. Hence, it would feel dull to only be able to print in black and white color. Therefore, there are many color printers offered by HP brand which could help you get cost-effective color prints. HP Printer Assistant can be used to check supply orders and check ink levels in your printer.
When you get high-quality color printouts, it could be a center of attraction for your target client. The presentation might look more alluring, persuasive and more memorable leading to long term profit. However, with the advancement of technology, you may come across various issues which can make your day harder. Some of the issues that you might experience are listed below along with proper solutions.

  • Cartridge short of ink – One of the reasons for not being able to print colored text or picture might be a shortage of ink in the cartridge. Before coming to this conclusion, you may need to perform the visual inspection using the following steps.
    1. At first, open the front cover of your printer gently and check the amount of remaining ink. If the ink is going to finish soon, replace it with a new ink cartridge.
    2. When finding that the ink is almost full or has an adequate amount, make sure to check the expiry date of the cartridge. If it has expired without being used, the ink could dry up and form a thicket.
    3. In the case of ink cartridge past its expiry date, you might have to install a new one. This will allow you to continue your printing task with vibrant color.

  • Print head needs to be replaced – Another major factor in the color printing process is the print head. Its job is to put the ink into paper and create a presentable text. You might be able to clean the print head by following the steps listed below.
    1. Firstly, go to the Start menu and click Control Panel.
    2. On the next window, you have to select Drivers and Printers where you may see all the connected devices on your computer.
    3. Right-click on the HP Printer Support that you are trying to fix and select Properties.
    4. On the new window, select Hardware option and then click Clean Ink on the subsequent tab.
    5. Finally, by following the instructions on the screen, you could clean the print head and start performing your printing jobs.

  • Enable color print – Even when their printer has the color capability, many users continue using the HP Printer with default settings. This could prevent you from doing your desired task. To fix this, you need to follow the steps mentioned below.
    1. As mentioned earlier, go to the Devices and Printers option. From the properties page for your printer, click Printing Preferences.
    2. Now, select Paper quality tab and set Color. Lastly, click OK to save the settings and exit the page.
    3. You can now perform a print test to verify the color quality of your HP Support Assistant.
